Waterford Leader Partnership

Waterford LEADER Partnership Ltd. has worked closely with PWDI Network Waterford, over the last 6 years, in developing and implementing it’s strategy to help and support people with disability in County Waterford. PWDI has done tremendous work including: building up and disseminating information to a large client base of approx. 800 clients; advocating on behalf of their target group; ensuring that planning regulations were followed, link clients to employment and training opportunities, etc.  They have developed a new 3 year strategy which builds on their past achievements and experience which should be of great benefit for people with disability in Waterford.  The strategy now is to work closely with their individual clients and help them to reach their goals be they social, cultural or economic. A special exphasis now is on helping people with disability gain either full time or part time employment.
