West Waterford LES Stonewall Building Course (Traditional Skills)

In June 2008, 10 LES Clients took part in a 9-day Stonewall Building Course in Lismore, Co. Waterford.  The Course, which featured practical skills in the building of retaining walls (for landscapping purposes); safety procedures in stonework and the construction of entrance-way structures, square piers, round piers and curved walls.  The programme was generously supported by the Department of Scial and Family Affairs and the Local Development Social Inclusion Programme (LDSIP).
