A worthwhile new initiative for Dungarvan from The Workcoach and the Local Employment Service (LES) ...

The County Waterford Local Employment Service were delighted when Colette Bannon from The Workcoach contacted them recently, to suggest setting up and running Group Coaching Sessions for Jobseekers. These sessions will assist those who, during these difficult times, need motivation, improved self-confidence and help to keep positive whilst Job-Seeking.

These high energy sessions aim to inspire participants to explore their career options; enhance their job-seeking skills; plan & set goals for a positive future, improve their self-confidence and be recognised for their unique abilities and skills by potential employers. In essence, these group coaching sessions, facilitated by an experienced workplace and career coach, will give participants the best chance of finding work.

The Group coaching sessions will run for 6 weeks for 1.5 hours, commencing on June 24^th at a cost of €10 per session (50% funded by the LES for those participants in receipt of a Social Welfare payment) and will be held in the LES Offices on 21, Church Street.
