Baldwin’s Farmhouse Ice-cream – Design of a new Branding Package
![]() This project was funded by Waterford Leader Partnership under the Rural Devleopment Programme Agri - Diversification Measure.
Thomas Baldwin is a young farmer farming at home in a milk production partnership with his parents. In 2007, Thomas decided to establish Baldwin’s Ice-cream as an additional on-farm income. Baldwin’s Ice-cream uses fresh milk and cream from their own dairy herd to produce ice-cream. A wide range of ice creams are available in various retail shops. Having successfully established his business Thomas felt that it was time to move his business to the next level and sought further funding from Waterford Leader Partnership Ltd towards the design of a new branding package which will help promote his product. Thomas intends to pursue with the upgrading/improving of the companies brand, logo, labels and website as well as having new visual aids/graphics designed (e.g. leaflets, posters). These will be used at points of sale where ice cream needs to be marketed to customers/the public. This development is essential in order to give the business a professional look and ensure that the quality of the product is communicated properly. In addition, it will create a sense of continuity throughout the branding scheme, resulting in consistency which customers will identify with. Please find further infomation on Baldwin's Ice-cream
