This project was part funded by the Rural Development Programme under the Basic Services to the Economy Measure.

This is the second phase of the full restoration of Barron Hall, Stradbally. When completed, this venue will provide Stradbally with a fully functioning community hall.  Phase 1 of the project was funded in 2009 under the Salmon Hardship Scheme as administered by WLP.  This involved getting the hall from a near derelict state to its current state whereby it is now accessible but not functioning.  When phase 2 is completed, the hall will be ready for use by the public as the stage will also be refurbished and it will be painted inside and out.  The toilets will be made accessible along with all 2^nd fix plumbing, electrics and carpentry.  Once this work has been completed, the local community will be able to avail of the hall and the use of its facilities.
