Waterford Leader Partnership

The Ballyduff/Kilmeaden Playground Committee was set up with the sole objective of establishing a playground for the neighbouring areas of Ballyduff and Kilmeaden.  In 2010 the group were successful in their application to Waterford LEADER Partnership for a grant to build their playground.  The project is an excellent example of the community working together and volunteering their time and commitment to provide a dedicated children’s outdoor play area which was lacking between the two communities and Waterford Leader Partnerships support of community and rural development in the County.
