Waterford LEADER Partnership under the Village Renewal Measure of the Rural Development Programme assisted the Ballymacarbry Community Development Group in funding the construction of the car park, toilets and the landscaping around the community facility. Under the programme, village renewal activities such as the provision of amenity facilities that are outside the remit of mainstream statutory and sporting bodies are supported.
