Waterford Leader Partnership/LCDP - Self Employment Options Course in Tramore
Pictured above are participants who took part in a self employment options programme in Tramore. The training took place over six week’s and was provided by Fitzwilliam Training & Consulting and funded by Waterford Leader Partnership/LCDP and Pobal. The course gave them an awareness of the requirements of self-employment and introduced them to some business basics. All participants were given the opportunity to fully explore a project idea and engaged with the tutors and others in the group to discuss and decide the best course of action going forward. Kay Scanlon, Jobs Facilitator with the Department of Social Protection attended on the last week to brief the group on the Back to Work Enterprise Allowance.
