The Equal Status Acts 2000 & 2004 apply to Waterford Leader Partnership Ltd. where it provides services to its clients.  The Equal Status Acts Promote Equality of Opportunity, Prohibit Discrimination on nine grounds, Prohibit Harassment and Sexual Harassment, requires reasonable accommodation of people with disabilities and allow for a wide range of positive actions.


The nine grounds are: Gender, Marital Status, Family Status, Disability, Sexual Orientation, Age, Religion, Race and Membership of The Traveller Community.

We seek to provide excellent service and to equip all our staff with the knowledge and expertise to be professional in dealing with clients.  We desire to have a well motivated workforce which takes pride in our work.

We will deal with clients in a courteous and open manner and will be straightforward, consistent and professional.  We seek to treat all clients fairly, not to discriminate and to provide a harassment free environment for all our clients.

We are committed to the reasonable accommodation of Diversity in the manner in which our services are provided.

Waterford Leader Partnership Ltd. intends to reasonably accommodate clients with a disability so that it is not impossible or unduly difficult for the clients to avail of our services.

We encourage the participation of our clients in feedback systems.  We also maintain an accessible system for dealing with any complaints.

A monitoring system will be used to measure progress in the implementation of this Equal Status Policy.

A review of the process will be undertaken on an annual basis and a detailed copy of our Equal Status Policy is available on request.
