Mike Hale, Lismore, Co. Waterford has been taking Social Farming participants on to his farm since 2017. He has supported a wide number of people from different services in West Waterford.
Mike’s love of horses rubs off on anyone that goes out to his farm where he also has a beef enterprise. There is such a wide variety of activities available on Mikes farm and the participants always find their own interests which Mike is keen to encourage. Mike and his family have a warm welcoming farm where all level of needs can be catered for. The participants take part in different projects where they learn new skills and with Mike’s patience different talents are identified and encouraged.
