Rathgormack Boolas Loop

The Rathgormack Boolas Loop is a scenic walking trail nestled in the Comeragh Mountains, County Waterford. This 10km circular route offers a challenging yet rewarding experience, weaving through rugged mountain terrain, open moorland, and tranquil valleys.

This walk on off-road track, field and open mountain on the slopes of the Comeragh Mountains takes you in the shadow of Carrignagower Mountain and provides breathtaking views of the Boolas, a series of glacial lakes nestled in the mountain corries.

PLEASE NOTE: Dogs are strictly prohibited on these trails. Dogs, whether on or off leads, cause stress and disturbance to farm animals, birds, and wildlife. Your cooperation ensures the safety of local animals and preserves the delicate habitats of the Comeragh Mountains. Thank you for respecting the farmers, landowners, and natural environment that make these trails possible.
