Hugh Kavanagh Engineering Ltd was awarded maximum funding of €200,000 for his project Streamline towards new equipment that included the installation of a CNC cutting drill and plate line system.
All of which are CNC controlled and serviced with a roller infeed and output conveyor. As a result of this investment in equipment, the promoter also upgraded ancillary operations including overhead cranes, new welding plant, increased efficiency of the spray shop including 2 new sprayers, installation of a shot blaster and enhancements to the stockyard. One full time job was created as a result of this investment. This project was funded under the Rural Development LEADER Programme 2014 – 2020, Local Objective 2 Enterprise Development.
