Sullivan Farm Lemybrien Co Waterford

Brian Sulivan, Lemybrien, Co. Waterford is assisted on the farm by his partner Niamh, Mother Margaret and also his grandmother Bridgit, each having a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with the Social Farming participants who come out to the farm on placements.

There is also a wide variety of activities available on the farm including looking after the cattle, horses and foul on a daily basis. The polytunnel produces a wide range of different crops which are influenced by the preferences of the participants or what is needed in the kitchen. Tea is provided in the thatch cottage by Brian’s grandmother and everyone looks forward to her now famous soda bread. The whole family enjoy welcoming the Social Farming participants to their farm and say they get as much out of it as they do. Waterford Local Radio recorded a piece on the farm during the Summer of 2019 which is available to listen to on https://www.spreaker.com/user/11231943/farmview-110719
