Over the years the festival has been a showcase of the food of the region, as well as being host to top chefs, fresh flavours, interesting influences and variety of events that grew and evolved.  It has a full programme of events over a three day period from dining, trails and tours, live demos, childrens events, markets, entertainment, the list goes on and changes year to year.  There is something to suit all ages and tastes and a great family outing.

The festival is a testament to the organisers and local businessess, communities, volunteers and funders that come on board every year making it one of the best Food and Events festival in country. All proceeds from the festival are re-invested to ensure the ongoing success of the festival and local business going forward.

Both Legacy Cider and Blackwater Distillery pictured below received support under the Rural Development 2014 – 2022 Leader Programme.
