Waterford LEADER Partnership CLG Local Employment Service (LES) announcement

Waterford LEADER Partnership CLG Local Employment Service (LES) is changing its name to the Waterford South Tipperary Local Area Employment Service (WSTLAES) from September 1st 2022.  The LES will no longer be in operation, as and from August 31st 2022.

The LES closure is due to the Department of Social Protection’s plan to set up a new service following on from a tendering process. This will affect all the LES’s throughout the country.

Waterford LEADER Partnership CLG LES has served the local community for over 25 years.  During that time, we appreciated the trust that was placed in us to provide a confidential, client centred and supportive service.

We have valued the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives especially during challenging times by providing much needed support through workshops, training and one to one engagement.

We would like to thank everyone who actively engaged with the LES and wish you well with all your future undertakings. All clients will continue to receive ongoing support up until August 31st.

From September 1st Waterford LEADER Partnership CLG will provide support to clients referred to us by the Department of Social Protection under the new service, the Waterford South Tipperary Local Area Employment Service (WSTLAES).

Please do not hesitate to contact us on 058 44077 (Dungarvan), 058 54646 (Lismore) or 051 649516 (Carrick on Suir) or send us an email at info@wlp.ie  if you have any additional questions.

As soon as the new WSTLAES Facebook page and website is launched, we will announce it on our social media sites so please follow @WaterfordLeaderPartnership and @WLPLeader to see upcoming details on the new service.

We look forward to continuing to support individuals in our community on their journey to employment as part of a new Waterford South Tipperary Local Area Employment Service (Waterford South Tipperary LAES).
