The development of a state of the art 4.500m2 synthetic all weather playing pitch with Art Floodlighting system was funded by the Rural Development (LEADER) Programme 2014 -2022 under the Basic Services Measure. It is a fantastic exercise, walking and sporting facility in Ardmore, Co Waterford used by clubs,schools, locals and visitors. The pitch is bookable to the general public
The pitch is one of the largest synthetic training pitches in Waterford and is set in a beautiful village. Sports and recreational facilities are a vital community resource and enhance the well-being and quality of life and funding this project will bring a valuable amenity to the area benefiting both locals and visitors to the area for years to come.
