In conjunction with the Tús Community Work Placement Initiative, Waterford Leader Partnership CLG is delighted to be involved with Ardmore Tidy Towns. The Tús participants in the Ardmore Tidy Towns help out with many different activities including grass cutting, strimming, pruning, painting, litter picking, sweeping, growing and planting.
They also help man the tourist office down by the beach. This year one of our participants helped grow and nurture the plants before they were planted out in the many beds and features around the village in the new poly tunnel donated to the tidy towns garden. A new boat was also installed down by the playground and painted in the fabulous Ardmore blue colour.
The local children help in brightening up the place with their colourful pictures and their help in growing and planting of the many flowers around the village.
